Luigi De Canio failed to hide his disappointment, as Rangers threw away a two goal lead to lose 4-2 against play-off hopefuls Burnley at Loftus Road.
Andrew Cole was the star of the show for the visitors, bagging a trademark hat-trick, as the R's tasted defeat in W12 for the first time in 2008.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, De Canio said: "Maybe, because of the type of football we played in the first half, we left ourselves open.

A very different QPR last played Stoke at Loftus Road ten months ago in the two teams' final game of the season: QPR drew 1-1 and denied Stoke a place in the playoffs. World Cup Qualifiers Schedule The race towards South Africa starts in August Fabio Capello has his work cut out for him. England start their qualifying campaign for the next World Cup on September 6th away to Andorra four days before meeting their recent nemesis Croatia in Zagreb. Present at the negotiations in the Sheraton Hotel in the Croatian capital were David Rodrigo of Andorra, Arno Pijpers of Kazakhstan, Bernd Tange of Belarus, Aleksei Mikhailichenko of Ukraine plus Capello and the host Slaven Bilic. It took six and a half hours in Zagreb for the six coaches from the teams in the England's group to reach an agreement on the calendar and in the end both Capello and Bilic claimed they were very happy with the outcome. read more »
- It's one year since QPR's 15 year old, England youth prospect, Dean Parrett was sold to Spurs. There were differing accounts about how this came about. Parrett is in the England U-17 squad playing this weekend in the "Algarve Tournament." Dean, 15, will move into the Tottenham Academy on a student registration before joining full-time as a scholar in July 2008. Parrett helped England Under-16s retain the Victory Shield against Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland in October last year.
