QPR OFFICIAL SITE - DE CANIO DEJECTED
Luigi De Canio failed to hide his disappointment, as Rangers threw away a two goal lead to lose 4-2 against play-off hopefuls Burnley at Loftus Road.
Andrew Cole was the star of the show for the visitors, bagging a trademark hat-trick, as the R's tasted defeat in W12 for the first time in 2008.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, De Canio said: "Maybe, because of the type of football we played in the first half, we left ourselves open.

Before I get to the main subject of todays blog, theres another topic that caught my attention today. I picked up my newspaper this morning and felt that I may have been caught in a time warp. There was a story in it which said that the city council had approved Liverpools plans for a 60,000 seat stadium on Stanley Park. This is of course great news, or at least it was when we first heard it two bloody years ago!
Now correct me if Im wrong, but the plans for a 60,000 seater stadium were already in place before our souls were sold to these two American idiots. You might remember that this was the original stadium design that they promised they would commence building within 60 days of taking over the club. read more »

Arsenal went to the top of the Premier League last weekend after defeating Manchester City and watching Manchester United slip up at Tottenham.
The win took Arsene Wenger's team to 60 points in 25 games, 2 points ahead of last season's champions United and 6 ahead of title-challengers Chelsea. With 13 league games left, anything could happen. Does the Arsenal squad have the necessary depth, belief, and skill to sustain its title charge for until May?
Depth:
Arsenal's squad is not the biggest, but the quality of the club's second-tier players is more than enough to make up for a seeming lack of numbers.
Arsene Wenger has often been criticized for his seeming inability to splash cash during transfer windows. This January was no different as Wenger failed to bring a single player to the Emirates despite losing Lassana Diarra to Portsmouth and Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Eboue, and Alex Song to the African Nations Cup. The Arsenal manager claimed that he did not want to burden his squad with too many players when his African stars returned from international duty. read more »
Reina Arbeloa Carragher Skrtel Aurelio Alonso Mascherano Kuyt Gerrard Babel Torres Goals: Brown 34 Ronaldo 79 Nani 81 The final results harsh, but its not that shocking considering Liverpool played with 10 men for over 45 minutes already down a goal. Every time Liverpool loses to United, I find far too many ways to complain about it. Todays no different, but its unavoidable after such a display. Browns goal in the 34th minute was little surprise. United had started off the better team, dominant in possession and creating more chances, with Reina twice stopping Rooney in the first ten minutes. However, after those two good saves, Reina disappointed. read more »
After receiving half time break teamtalk, United lads seems being refill with passion on their blood. They are now in more controll of the game since the start of the second period. A much better performance from Newcastle in second half as the lads push the Bolton side almost entirely back in their box and defend. Both United winger are busy delivering crosses into Bolton’s penalty area, Milner on the right and N’Zogbia /Duff on the left. Newcastle has couple of efforts on goal in this half from Milner who sees his shot been deflected away and a long shot effort from Carr. Duff uncluckily being booked for something that is far from being a decent foul in 55 minutes. A pretty ridiculous decision by the referee Wiley. read more »
